For as long as I can remember Nursery Road Elementary School has always had a Christmas Party for the staff's kids and grand kids. And this year Carter got to go!
Once Santa arrived, Carter started to scream and didn't want to be anywhere near him so Gee walked around with her.
Gee brought her back to the library as Santa started to give out gifts. When Santa called Carter's name she started kicking, screaming, and quirming in Gee's arms. She wanted to get as far away from him as possible. Mommy thanked Santa for Carter's gift and we went back to the office to visit with Gee's friends. From the looks of these pictures, you would never know how upset she had been just minuets before.
Now that she was calm, she wanted to open her gift from Santa.
She got the book Where is Baby's Christmas Present, another book by her favorite author Karen Katz. When I say her favorite author, I really mean her favorite author. Carter absolutely loves every book by her.
We made it home just in time to play with daddy before bedtime. Carter was still full of energy from our fun day.
After she and daddy finished playing, daddy was ready to relax in the recliner but Carter wasn't finished playing just yet. She enjoyed playing peek-a-boo under the leg rest while daddy sat in the chair.
