Who would have ever thought on December 6th we would be picking out our Christmas tree in 82 degree weather? Carter was wearing her red and white striped shirt, Christmas shoes and jean shorts. It was crazy warm, even for South Carolina.
We had a couple errands to run before making it home so with the tree attached to the top of the Jeep, we dropped daddy off to pick of his car from getting its oil changed. Thankfully daddy called mommy on the way home to remind her not to pull into the garage because the tree was on top. Mommy had already forgotten it was up there!
Daddy got the tree inside and in the stand all while Carter watched from the stairs.
The next day we got up, played, and started decorating the tree.
Carter was very intrigued with the box of lights, especially when we wrapped them around her, turned the lights off, and plugged them in! She didn't know what to think!
She loved the ornaments. They were a toy to her. We thought we had the box out of her reach until we heard them all falling down the stairs and bouncing on the floor. She found it fun and we couldn't help but laugh. Atleast we weren't having to fish her out from under the tree or the water in the bottom of the tree stand...or atleast we weren't having to do so yet...

Mommy documented her presence by the picture below. Daddy was about to step over me...see him in the top left corner of the ornament?
