Christmas with the Carlsons

On Christmas eve we spent the afternoon with Grammy and Grandpa. Carter enjoyed playing with some of Aunt Kari and daddy's old toys. Grammy even got out a couple of Aunt Kari's Itty Bitty Babies from when she was a little girl.

And of course no visit is complete without a game of peek-a-boo!

Of course Carter wanted to walk around the house and read books too!

We had previously celebrated with Kari, Ryan, Nathan and Nolan on the morning of Carter's birthday party. Carter wanted to be as close as possible to Nolan when Kari got him out of the carseat. She pointed at him and would get upset when I would pull her away. She insisted sticking by his side for the first couple minutes!

Then Grammy and Grandpa brought Nathan and she was ready to socialize.

Next came opening presents. Nathan loved his tool set!

Carter was excited about her new nesting cups set and book.

Carter and Nathan are a lot of fun together at this age. And to think that next year Nolan will be on the move and in the mix! Can't wait to see the three of them playing together!
