Hello sippy cup and 2% milk!
Carter went all day without drinking out of a bottle or having any formula. Instead, she drank straight from the refrigerator, cold 2% milk from an old school Tupperware sippy cup. At first she was a little hesitant and would let the milk run from her mouth, to her chin, and into her bib. I'm so glad we made the switch to the BabyBajorn hard bib. It was perfect for catching all the extra milk.
Throughout the day, we would give Carter her cup of milk and she would drink off and on for a few minuets with it. She got better at swallowing sips but would still have the occasional dribble down the front of her bib. Once enough out collected in the "trough" we would have to empty it out into the sink.
By the end of the day, Carter was sipping on her milk and making her "ummmm..." sound (translation: "yummm"). What a big milestone! Our little baby girl is growing up!
