Brushing Carter's Teeth

We sat Carter on the counter and she quickly turned to the mirror. She has always enjoyed looking at herself. Quickly mommy read the directions and squeezed a pea sized amount of toothpaste gel on to the blue finger toothbrush. Carter wasn't sure what was being stuck in her mouth. It took her all of a second to decide she liked it and all of maybe three seconds to figure out she could bite mommy's finger as it brushed her four teeth and gums in a circular motion. One bite and that was it. From then on out she was relaxed and enjoyed having the silicone finger toothbrush in her mouth. She even helped by holding on to mommy's finger. After we finished brushing, we rinsed off the toothbrush and Carter insisted on holding it and checking it out. She was excited to have clean teeth, fresh breath, and shining pearly whites! So of course she had to show off with her big smile!
