Looking back through our pictures I found the pictures of Carter sleeping in for the last time. Swaddle or straight jacket (as Papa called it) it has served its purpose. Carter had always slept better in it but finally out grew one of our favorite baby must-haves!
These pictures make Carter look like a little baby...maybe it's because it reminds me of all the sleeping pictures I took of her when she was a baby baby or maybe it's because you can't see her new teeth. Either way, she looks so angelic snuggled up napping. But at almost 10 months old...it's probably time to retire our beloved swaddle.
Look at her sleeping in the swaddle at 4 and a half months old! Most noticeable difference: more hair and darker eye lashes!
