1st Trip to Presbyterian College for Homecoming 2013

We had many reasons to celebrate this past weekend. It was PC's homecoming, Lauren was in homecoming court, and it was Carter's first trip to one of our favorite places on Earth! Having only been out of college four years (Casey J has been out 5) not only did we feel old but add a baby to the mix and we felt like it has been forever since we were in school. We have always told Lauren that your time there flies by and I think she is now starting to believe us since her senior year is almost half way complete.
Carter took a nap on the way up to Clinton. When we got to the stadium, she was ready to stretch her legs. We walked around a little bit as she took it all in. We tailgated with some of Lauren's friends and their families.
Carter was very well behaved and smiled at all the people around her. She enjoyed standing up at the cooler.
We brought a big blanket and toys for Carter to play with while we tailgated.
A few pictures just before packing up to go into the stadium.
On our way to the stadium we ran into our friends Caleb and Kathryn and their little man Wilson. They looked so cute decked out in their PC outfits!
We watched the game from the stands as PC crushed Point University.
At halftime, Dad escorted Lauren on to the field as she represented the Math Club as their homecoming representative. I was excited they were able to spot me in the stands and I was able to snap some cute pictures.
When I returned back to our seats, I found these two laughing and playing patty cake.
Carter did well sitting in the stands. We did get up and walk around a few times to get a change of scenery and get some wiggles out.
As we were walking out of the stadium, we attempted to take a picture with Scotty, the PC mascot. I think it was a combination of being tired and an unfamiliar face that had her squirming to get away.
Before leaving we made our way over to the front of campus to snap a few pictures.
Of course Aunt Squeaky had to squeeze in a pic!
Mom made Carter's dress especially for the occasion. She appliqued PC on the front and lined it in blue and white gingham fabric. She was the cutest little PC fan on campus!
We have countless memories of our years at PC and seeing Carter in front of the Presbyterian College sign made our day even more special!
I'm sure we will continue to make more memories here for years to come!
