Carter the Pirate Girl

Carter loved the pirates and pixies theme for our neighbor's birthday party! She had been asking daily for over two weeks if it was Sadie's birthday party. Needless to say, when she asked today and mommy told her yes, she was soooo excited!

Carter never even thought twice about being a fairy. She chose pirate from the start and stuck with her decision. We had black leggings and a white shirt so we just went with the idea. Found a hat at Party City and tied some red fabric around her waist. At the last minute, mommy let her try on Me-Maw Bookout's gold necklace and it totally made her costume! It made mommy smile seeing Carter wearing something of her late great-grandmother's. 

She was the cutest little pirate girl!

The party ended with a bang...literally. Carter fell and gave herself a goose egg but she thoroughly enjoyed herself at the party!
