Fun with the Fire Truck

The Lexington County Fire Department brought their fire truck to our culdesac and talked to the kids and parents about fire safety. We told Carter the night before that there would be a fire truck coming to our neighborhood so she was on the lookout. She kept telling us that she wanted to drive the fire truck.

The firemen gave her a fireman hat and a sticker. Carter got to get inside the truck and look around. This might have been her favorite part! (She talked the whole time she was inside.)

Sweet culdesac friends on the front of the truck with the firemen.

...and even though Carter is not smiling (she was hot and was not happy with the sun) she really did have a blast. She has been talking about the experience for days!
