Due to all the rain we have received, Carter's Christmas present was just delivered but it was well worth the wait! We had kept the blinds closed so that she had no clue when it was delivered and while we waited a couple days for the paint to dry. She didn't know what to think when she saw a playhouse in the back yard! She quickly dropped Papa's hand and took off to see it for herself!
Inside the playhouse is a kitchen, little nursery, and a table and chairs.
Then she wanted to check out the outside chairs and we quickly got a family picture before she was up and playing again.
She wanted to see "more playhouse" so she took a few laps around the outside to check it out.
She loved being able to open and close the front door. She must have come inside and gone outside a hundred times. Each time she was just excited as before to open the door and see the inside of the house.
This smile was stuck on her face the whole afternoon. All she wanted to do was be outside.
We were afraid it wasn't going to be pretty when it came time to go back inside (our house) and warm up. Of course she wanted to stay outside! We all walked inside and watched and waited for her to follow. Soon she came running inside for "hot chacha" (hot chocolate).
The playhouse was well worth the wait!
