Our First Car Ride As A Family of Four

We went to eat and pick up Carter from my parents house Sunday night. We usually have a hard time getting Carter to leave their house but not tonight. We had Baby Crawford loaded up in his car seat and Carter said she was ready to go "ride in the backseat with bayba."

She gave Gee, Papa and YaYa kisses and she was on her way to the car. No tears or looking back. She was excited for her first car ride with her baby brother. (She had been talking about doing this for weeks!)

As we pulled out of the driveway, Baby Crawford started to cry. Carter told him, "no cry babe ba." Then she started making the "shhhhhhh" sound. 

Once he stopped crying, Carter just sat there staring at him and smiling. It was the cutest thing!
