Not only do we share the same name but we usually share the same birthday...well almost, Casey James is a year and eight days older than me but we enjoy celebrating together. The past couple weeks have been extremely busy and the first time that all our schedules were free to celebrate was on March 30th. We were celebrating a 26th, 27th and a 28th! I had turned 26, Casey J had turned 27, and it was my parent's 28th wedding anniversary!
Earlier in the week, Lauren was holding Carter as they were watching Papa dance and wave a wipe in the mirror. We were told that Papa had Carter laughing so hard that she got the hiccups and he had to stop because he didn't want to make her sick. Lauren and Papa were telling us about it and Papa decided to reenact it for us.
Sure enough he got her laughing...and one thing lead to another and Papa was up from the table, dancing and waving his napkin in the air. Casey quickly grabbed the video camera and I started snapping pictures.
Okay so not only can dad make Carter laugh, he had everyone crying we were laughing so hard.
We were so glad Lauren got to celebrate with us. She had been counting down the days until she and her little "Snooby" got to spend time together.
We had a fun night of celebrating and spending time together as a family! We are looking forward to another year of growing old'er' together!
