It's that time again...hard to believe another month has flown by us. Your personality is shinning as bright as your gummy little smile. You have really grown up a lot this past month; it's hard to believe how much you have changed in such a short amount of time.
Last month you were "mobile" --- this month, you are all over the place if given the chance. You can maneuver around with easy except you get sometimes get yourself in tight quarters (up against a wall/corner or in between bigger toys). You know how to turn around but if there isn't enough space to make a "U-ie" you haven't figured out how to go in reverse. Your crawl is more like a worm or a frog hop but you can be quick when you want to be!
Mommy went picture crazy this month and took a ton of pictures! Guess that's a good thing, definitely lots of picture to document your growth! You found your ears this month and you think it is so funny!
You and your sister have started interacting and playing together more than ever. Usually you want to be right there either with your head inside her doll house (which is a little too close for her so we end up having to back you up a little) or right beside her reaching for the book she's reading. She is pretty good about sharing a toy with you (aka giving her a toy she doesn't want) but it works and you always light up with the brightest smile. We all know how ticklish you are and now Carter will sometimes tickle your belly or back. When she first sees you when you wake up from a nap she gives you kisses and love and every now and then she will randomly give you "love". She likes to say "Tofford loves me!"
Carter really got into taking pictures this month! As soon as she saw mommy taking pictures, she ran off to the playroom to get her camera and take pictures too! She even wanted her picture taken...which is rare these days!
Carter enjoyed pointing to the number 7 and naming the letters in the word "months."
You normally LOVE to stand up on your feet...but you preferred to lay on the floor and crawl around and have your picture taken this month. You definitely did not want to stand for pictures.
You are still wearing 6 months clothes and honestly, some 3 month Jon Jons. You are such a skinny little man, but we can tell you are growing taller. Even though you are slender, you have started to get some meat on your thighs. You are wearing size 3 diapers. Your tear blocked tear duct seems to have cleared up on its own. Your eye color looks like it may be getting a little lighter. You have random strands of longer hairs growing in. Your hair is coming in much lighter than the dark hair you were born with. We are trying to keep it parted but it seems to want to grow straight forward.
He's added this new little stance, legs straight and hiney up in the air, he doesn't really crawl like this but he gets up on his feet acting like he is going to stand up! He still is not sitting up, it's more of a sideways prop up on one arm kind of move...besides, who has time to sit when you can be moving?
Crawford and Carter enjoy being one the floor together - most of the time. *Look at her blonde curls!*
They aren't supposed to be playing with the curtains but mommy couldn't resist watching them play hide and seek with the curtain. It was precious!!! To hear them both laugh together makes mommy's heart melt! Carter can make Crawford laugh soooo hard!
Little mane and his gummy grins! He is really growing up before our eyes! You are loving solid foods. So far you have enjoyed green beans, broccoli, spinach, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, peaches, apples, pears, and prunes. Mommy's kitchen is back in business making baby food! The only thing you hate is cereal. It must have been painfully gross. Those faces and gagging expressions...needless to say, we will have to wait a little bit until we try it again. Who knows, maybe you will like it in time.
You make the funniest of faces sometimes but you have the cutest smile! Still no teeth, but we know they are on their way...we can see some puffy spots on both the upper and bottom gums.
Alrightly, little man, thats your seven months update! This month flew by...we keep waiting for time to slow down but it seems to keep picking up the pace!
