Daddy had the day off from work, the weather was beautiful and this little girl had been asking to go to the zoo!
We had a rare experience with Patrick, the gorilla. He was very active and almost interacting with the crowd. It was almost as if he was waving to us!
And "Little Man" did great! He rode in the actual stroller seat for a while (not the carseat carrier), ate and then fell asleep while mommy wore him in the Bjorn.
Of course Carter and daddy rode the train!
The zoo was crowded but we had a fun day. Carter had done great but was getting tired -definitely naptime- and Crawford was zonked out. (Note the paci...He rarely ever keeps one in...this was a rare occasion!)
Carter ate a snack on the way home. She was content with cheddar bunny crackers and water but by the time we made it home she was more than ready for a nap! She was worn out!
