We went to the zoo with one of Carter's little friends from Library Class and her mom this morning. We got there just in time to see the penguins be fed. We had lots of fun and it was a beautiful day! Carter wore her new gray and pink elephant shirt that Gee made her! She looked so cute!
We had an awesome experience with Riverbanks' new gorilla, Patrick. He and Carter stared at each other for a long time. Carter didn't know what to think and Patrick just watched her.
We ended our trip by having a picnic and then went home for a long nap!
