Well Check Ups: 1 year and 3 year

Mommy took the two littles for their well visits today. As usual, Carter was so excited to be going to the doctor! (It's the strangest thing.) She was hoping to get "another flu shot." (She called every shot a "flu shot" but whatever, the child likes shots...she's probably the only kid to ever get excited for shots.)
Crawford on the other hand, was just his usual smiley self...other than having a runny nose. He didn't know what was going on, he just thought it was fun to get to sit on the table with the crinkly paper.
Carter enjoyed interacting with the nurse and Dr. Smith. During this visit, she got to play a new game (also know as a vision test) and have her "fruits and vegetables" tested (also know as a finger prick for blood work). As the nurse was taking her blood, she said, "This is soooo funny!" Carter surprised Dr. Smith by being able to spell her name, hold a crayon with the correct grip and write the letters C, r and t in her name.

Carter checked out about as usual, at the top of the charts.
Weight: 37lbs 8oz, 93rd percentile
Height: 41 inches, 99th percentile

Crawford is making up for lost time in the growth department and still holding down the lower end of the scale in height.
Weight: 20 lbs 2 oz, 29th percentile
Height: 29 inches, 17th percentile

Carter left happy and with a Cinderella sticker. Crawford left in tears after getting three shots and a prescription for our first ear infection.
