Circus

Carter has been saying when she is old enough, that she wants to go to the circus. So this morning, we asked her if she thought she was old enough to go because we had tickets. She was so excited and even though we had been watching YouTube videos of the circus all week, we don't think she really knew how big it actually was going to be. She kept saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to the circus!"
We got there early for the meet and greet on the floor. We got to walk down see the ring, animals and some acts.
Carter got her picture taken with the clown girl and she gave her a red clown nose! She loved it and was able to pick her out during the circus because of her orange hair!
This year is the last year that the elephants will be a part of the circus. Carter enjoyed getting to see them up close and thought it was "so funny" to watch the elephant paint with a paint brush and do tricks.
We made it to our seats and were ready for the show!
Carter the Clown
The trapeze walkers were very brave!
Carter enjoyed the ringmaster and would wave at him everytime he came around. She was mesmerized.
The elephants were another favorite.
After intermission, we came back to our seats to find mermaids swinging from the ceiling. They were one of Carter's favorites!
Carter thought Dixie should join the circus!
These guys were awesome on the trampoline!
Still eating popcorn...and exhausted from the circus but on the way home. When we got back, she had to have her clown nose and circus bag to walk in the house and show Grammy and Grandpa. So naturally, we walked in and told them we brought back a clown from the circus, "Carter the Clown."
When asked what her favorite part of the circus was, she said, "All of it!!! I want to live at the circus!!!!" Needless to say, we all had a great time!
