Our second attempt of getting a Christmas tree was a success. The first one ended on at Menchies for frozen yogurt after stopping at three different places to get a tree and not having much of any to choose from. It was a Tuesday night and Case just happened to have it off so we thought we would try but everyone must have bought their trees the weekend after thanksgiving and so we had to wait on the second shipment.
Since Case finished the outage Friday morning, we went Friday afternoon and the first tree Carter picked out was the one we got. She wanted to talk about all the different steps the man went through before he wrapped it up and help tie it to the top of our car. Crawford was happy---just happy to be out of his car seat---we are hoping this phase of hating the car seat ends soon.

We came home with a hungry toddler, a surprisingly happy baby (not sure what made our trip home so exciting but he didn't cry!) and our Christmas tree. Carter was snacking and trying out her new dress shoes. Excuse the nacked child but she wanted to be right beside Casey.
Next she tried on her new dress and ate her snack while Crawford watched and tried to climb the stairs.
Carter later wrapped herself in this blanket and called herself Princess Elsa. It was so funny with pearls on!
