Carter Gets Her Flu Shot 2015

While at the pediatrician for Crawford, we asked Dr. Smith if Carter could get her flu shot. She told us that she was old enough for the mist if we'd rather her have that.

Knowing how much Carter LOVES flu shots, we turned to her..."Carter do you really want the shot?" She quickly replied, "Yes ma'am!" And Dr. Smith laughed and said, "Okay then."

Carter was so excited she was ready to get on the table. A minute later, in walks the nurse. Carter was so brave and never even flinched. First thing she wanted to know was what kind of band aid she was going to get. She was please to see it was silver and sparkly with polka dots! 

As we walked out of the room, Dr. Smith was finishing up her records. Carter looked at her and said, "Thanks for the flue shot!" The few nurses standing by started laughing hysterically along with Dr. Smith!
