18 Months

Before even making it outside, this little blue eyed beauty was trying to put on sunglasses!

18 months have truly flown by! Our precious little baby girl has turned into a walking and talking little toddler! It's hard to believe you are half way through your second year! You are growing so fast, it's not only harder to keep up with you but just as hard keeping up with all the new things you are saying and doing!

Some days you bring mommy as many books as you can carry to read to you. Sometimes we only get past the cover and first couple pages, while other days you will want to read through almost the whole book!

You love hearing the garage door go up. No matter where we are in the house you point your finger and say "Da!" And make your way to the back door. Sometimes you will add the word "home" into the routine. 

Your little ringlets are getting longer. The top of you head still seems to be staying pretty straight and will sometimes be a little wavy but your curls are sometimes so tight they are spring like! 

This month you had a very memorable well check up! As soon as the nurse came in you got upset. You started crying when it was time to be measured but as soon a different nurse came in with your shots you started screaming! Immediately after you got your shots, you looked at the nurse, through your hand up in the air to wave, and said, "Bye!" We couldn't help but laugh at you for wanting her out of there so fast! (Your check up was actually on your 18 month birthday!)

Although you are growing so fast and are becoming less baby-like each month, you are becoming one funny little girl who can light up a room with a smile and your set of dimples!

Weight: 25 pounds 12 ounces (85th percentile)
Length: 33 inches (85th percentile)
Head Circumference:  49 cm (98th percentile)
Clothing: Mostly 18 months and a few 24month/2T tops (gotta keep that belly covered!)
Eating: Mostly what mommy and daddy eat, your favorite is bananas and yogurt
Sleeping: 11-12 hours at night and 2-1 hour naps during the day
Diaper Size: Size 4
Teeth: 9 (almost 10, waiting on a top molar to break through)
