Carter wore her first pair of flip flops on the Fourth of July. They were given to her by our friend/distant relative Margaret Ann. Carter wasn't sure what to think of having anything on her feet. At first she just stared at them. Then she felt them and next they went straight to her mouth!
They were super cute and had "My First Fourth" written around the toes.
Then we went to Gee and Papa's for dinner. Carter ate dinner sitting in mommy and Aunt Squeaky's old high chair. After all these years of holding on to things, they finally are getting some use!
So happy to be playing on the floor!
We had a fun time celebrating the 4th with the Bookout's. Once we got home we worried that Carter may not sleep due to all of the fireworks. She snuggled in bed with us, but as soon as she fell asleep she didn't wake up until the next morning!
