If there is one thing we have learned this year is that it can be hard to get a picture with both kiddos cooperating...much less in the same frame. Carter was so excited about Santa coming, so she was on her best behavior. Crawford on the other hand, didn't want too much to do with taking pictures.
So we made cookies for Santa. We hoped Santa liked "place-n-bake" cookies. While they were in the oven, we went outside to leave carrots for the reindeer. Carter enjoyed tossing the carrots in the yard, Crawford preferred to eat them instead of leave them.
One last attempt before given the fresh cookies.
Finally both sitting in front of the tree, happily eating cookies. We asked Crawford to kiss Carter and he gave her an ewwy-gooey chocolate kiss and hug to the knee.
After they finished their cookies, we put some on a plate and left some milk for Santa. Carter knew that these cookies were meant just for Santa and kept telling Crawford not to eat them. She didn't want him getting too close for fear he might try to snag one for himself!
They both were tired and ready to go to bed so Santa could come!
