I called mom this morning to wish her a Happy Mother's Day and this was the
beginning of the conversation:
Ring, ring...
Mom: "Hello?"
Me: "Happy Mother's Day!"
Mom: "You too!"
Me: Awkward silence....I'm thinking to myself, What!?!? How does she know!?!?
Mom: "Um...I mean you can be Molly's mom today. Haha..." (Molly is our family dog and that must have been the first thing that came to her mind.)
Me: "Ummmmm...okay, thanks?"
Little did she know...We have a little one on the way!
